BREAKFAST IN BELFAST
We support the finest local food producers at the Stormont Hotel in Belfast
We all know that Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so that is why at the Stormont Hotel we strive to go the extra mile to find the finest, locally sourced fresh produce to give you a real Irish breakfast experience.
Our traditional breakfast menu showcases the very best of Northern Ireland’s seasonal larder and heritage from a carefully selected group of local and artisanal suppliers. This produce stands out in terms of its quality and flavour and enables our chefs to prepare the most delicious start to your day!
Guests staying at the Stormont Hotel can spend time learning about our relationship with local suppliers in our ‘Who Made My Breakfast’ booklet, but for now we thought we’d give you just a taste of what you can expect from our award-winning breakfast…
Porridge Oats – milled by White’s Oats in Tandragee, Co. Armagh, White’s is Northern Ireland’s only oat miller and breakfast cereal producer. With over 175 years’ experience and a focused passion for locally sourcing and milling oats, you’ll taste and experience the difference, White’s time and dedication brings.
Bushmills Whiskey – for a different start to the day, guests staying at the Stormont Hotel are invited to a drizzle of Bushmills Original Whiskey with their Porridge. Bushmills is distilled, matured and bottled at the Old Bushmills Distillery, situated in the village of Bushmills just two miles from the iconic Giant’s Causeway on the northern coast and 50 miles north of Belfast.
Irwin’s Bread – we use only fresh locally produced bread in our breakfasts. Irwin’s Bakery is proud to celebrate 100 years of baking in Northern Ireland and has been at the heart of the local bakery industry for three generations. A family owned bakery, Irwin’s has been baking the favourites we have all grown up with, such as batch bread and soda farls, since 1912. The bakery’s traditional family values are reflected in the product range available; traditional soda and wheaten bread, fruit loaves and potato farls are classic examples of Northern Ireland’s heritage.
